Time: Doors open at 5.30pm
Venue: Chambers Island Sailing Club Hall (across the foot bridge) Bradman Avenue, Maroochydore
Entry: $5 per adult.
Bring your friends and a plate of nibbles / tapas to share when you grab a table. Enjoy the sunset over the water and social dance until midnight.
Parking along Bradman Avenue and side streets. Great wooden dance floors.
Kids welcome.
DJ Sean is back with a fabulous variety of music including Zouk, Salsa, Merengue, Samba de Gafeirera, Cha Cha, Batchata, Forro, Bolero ….

NEW YEAR’S EVE - TANGO - MAPLETON
Tango Con Estilo NYE Milonga at Mapleton Mapleton Community Hall, Obi Obi Road.
Dance from 8pm to 2 am to Conrad’s selection of music, then rest for a while before meeting again for breakfast at Poet’s Cafe Montville.
Cost of milonga $20, including complimentary glass of bubbly. Usual tea, coffee etc but you are welcome to BYO drink & plate.

If a beginner, learn the basic movements and concepts of Tango to take to the dance floor. Come with a partner or on your own. Learn the language of lead & follow, the Tango walk, body posture & stance.
LESSONS include strengthening body awareness & alignment to achieve balance, improved footwork & musicality.
Amaliah has 40 yrs experience in the professional Dance Arena as a professional dancer, Choreographer, Teacher and Rehearsal Director for the Queensland Ballet Company. Recently living on the Sunshine Coast, she has 6 yrs Tango experience and has a BA Arts in Dance.
